International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory
International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) is the first, and so far the only, fully international research organisation in Europe in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. INL is an international intergovernmental organisation with the mission to perform cutting-edge R&D in interdisciplinary nanotechnology and to function as an innovation integrator in multiple application domains.
INL is the result of a joint decision of the Governments of Portugal and Spain, and was created under an international legal framework with the aim to become a global centre of excellence in applied nanotechnology research. The centre provides a high-tech research environment to address major challenges of nanotechnologies, in four areas:
Health,
Safety in Environmental and Food control,
Renewal Energy, and
Information and Communication Technologies.
INL has sound experience for providing rapid prototyping service for market introduction of knowledge-added intense high TRL-level products through the deployment of knowledge, facilitated by rapid prototyping, in partnership with business users
