Stakeholder Engagement, dissemination and exploitation
Objective
The main objective of this package is to ensure a pro-active engagement of stakeholders, including engineered nanomaterials (ENMs) and nano-enabled products (NEPs) developers, industry associations, international bodies (CEN, ISO, OECD), national and EU regulatory bodies, as well international platforms on nanosafety and to promote awareness of the project and establish the protection strategy of the outcomes.
Activities
This package will work on the strengthening of an active interaction with stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, policy makers, industrial organizations and international initiatives to transform the outcomes of the project into working solutions, the active dissemination of the new knowledge generated within the project, and the management of the property rights.
Scheduled tasks include liaison and networking with stakeholders, including the organization of expert meetings and round tables on key topics with national and supranational agencies (e.g. ECHA), industry associations, and other nanotechnology actors from the nanosafety community and the nanotechnology value chain, the development of communication, dissemination and dialogue channels with stakeholders, including value proposition analysis and activities in cooperation with external stakeholder events, the development of guidelines for Safe-by-Design (SbD) integration in the risk governance framework, training activities to raise awareness on SbD approaches, and the exploitation and IPR management. Conclusions reached through the project will be assessed for their suitability and quality in view of existing regulation and impact on stakeholders.
Key Outcome
A validated Plan for the Exploitation & Dissemination of Results, SbD guidelines tailored designed to cover stakeholders needs and regulatory requirements, training workshops, and e-learning materials.
